By purchasing a ticket and registering for this Trip, You confirm that You understand, agree to, and accept all Terms listed here.

1. You acknowledge You are fit to participate in the Trip. Participation is Your choice, and You assume any and all risks associated with Trip activities which may lead to loss, injury, disability or death.
a. These risks include but are not limited to sickness, slipping, falling, allergic reactions, unaccustomed physical exertion, changes in weather conditions, inadequate supervision, travel on public or unsealed roads, failure in vehicles, equipment and facilities, collisions with natural and man-made objects, variations in terrain, the actions of other individuals and wildlife, and other events outside NEWSKI’s control.
b. You agree to release, defend and indemnify NEWSKI from any and all liability incurred of any kind whatsoever in any way arising out of Your participation in the Trip.
2. Your travel insurance will only be issued once the full Trip fare has been paid. It is Your responsibility to ensure you have an appropriate level of travel insurance cover suitable for your personal circumstances and to protect against any additional loss or damage that may occur. If You do not elect to arrange additional insurance cover, You do so at Your own risk.
3. You are solely responsible for Your personal belongings and equipment during the Trip.
4. At all times during the Trip (including travelling to and from New Zealand) You will comply with the Code of Behaviour. You understand this means You will:
a. Exercise good judgment and act in a safe and responsible manner while attending the Trip and participating in Trip activities;
b. Respect the rights, dignity and worth of others (including fellow NEWSKI members, service providers and members of the public);
c. Not do anything which is likely to intimidate, offend, insult or humiliate another person involved in the Trip on the basis of their sex, disability, race, colour, age, religion, national or ethnic origin;
d. Avoid behaviour that is perceived to be threatening, intimidating or causes any person to fear for their personal safety or well-being;
e. Not use or possess any illegal or prohibited drugs or substances during the Trip;
f. Comply with all local laws and customs and follow all rules and regulations, safety instructions and reasonable directions given by NEWSKI Executives and/or any third-party service providers which may be involved in delivering the Trip.
5. NEWSKI Executive reserves the right to remove You from the Trip at any time, should You breach the Code of Behaviour, or where such action is determined by the NEWSKI Executive to be in the best interests of the health, safety, and general welfare of others.
a. Removal from the Trip is at Your cost and there is no right of refund or appeal.
b. NEWSKI may, in its sole discretion, take further action to suspend You from attending future events, and/or terminate Your NEWSKI membership.
c. You will be required to replace any property that is lost or damaged through my careless or otherwise negligent behaviour.
6. This Trip is offered by NEWSKI, a student run club at UNSW; however, NEWSKI has engaged third party service providers to deliver the Trip. You understand that NEWSKI does not own, operate or control any of these service providers, accepts no liability for the provision of such services, and makes no warranty as to their quality and standard.
7. You acknowledge that the Trip is subject to a range of circumstances and conditions that may not meet Your expectations and that NEWSKI has no reasonable control over. Accordingly, NEWSKI is under no obligation to refund any part of the costs paid by You if You are not satisfied with any aspect of the Trip irrespective of the reason, or offer compensation.
8. Refunds will be provided if government mandated COVID-19 protocols cancel the Trip.
9. If you purchase a ticket and can no longer attend the Trip, You must first notify NEWSKI in writing, and a suitable replacement must be found to receive a refund. After Your replacement has paid the full fare, You will receive a refund equal to the amount paid by You, minus a $500 administrative fee. Full refunds are subject to name change fees and could include an additional $100. Should a suitable replacement not be found, the Trip ticket price is non-refundable.
